Our New Certificate III Courses
Three pathways to a rewarding career in construction. All courses combine classroom learning with extensive practical training.
Certificate III in Bricklaying and Blocklaying
- Laying bricks & blocks
- Arches & decorative features
- Heritage & refractory work
Students will master 28 units of competency, including masonry veneer construction, curved walls, and erecting restricted height scaffolding. Graduates are equipped to apply for a trade license and can progress into site supervision or business ownership.
Certificate III in Solid Plastering
- Decorative & textured finishes
- Interior & exterior plastering
- Restoration techniques
Students will master 20 units of competency, including applying set coats and restoring solid plasterwork. Unique electives also allow students to investigate business opportunities and manage finances for new ventures. Graduates are equipped to apply for a trade license and can progress into site supervision or business ownership.
Certificate III in Wall and Floor Tiling
- Ceramic, porcelain & stone tiles
- Waterproofing & wet areas
- Pattern layouts & mosaics
Students will cover 20 units, including the installation and repair of wall & floor tiles, Apply waterproofing for wall and floor tiling, and Use wall and floor tiling tools and equipment. Graduates are equipped to apply for a trade license and can progress into site supervision or business ownership.
General Entry Requirements
- > Must be at least 18 years of age.
- > Completion of the equivalent of Year 12.
- > English proficiency: IELTS 6.0 or equivalent.
- > Participation in a course entry interview and LLND test.
